Dvanaestogodišnja Maha pripada posljednjoj generaciji palestinskih izbjeglica kampa Balata.
Kad se zdravlje njezina slabovidna djeda počne pogoršavati, odlučuje se na nevjerojatnu ideju:
natjerat će ga da vjeruje kako je zid pao i da se može vratiti u svoju domovinu Jaffu.…
Alles gut, Grčka, 25’
Redatelj: Pavlos Paraskevopoulos
Pavlos putuje u mirno selo na sjeveru Grčke kako bi posjetio svoju baku. Dok ona priprema
njegova omiljena jela, on je snima svojom kamerom. Kako se oboje bore s usamljenošću,
otvaraju se jedno drugom kao nikada prije. U toplini bakinog zagrljaja, Pavlos napokon otkriva
što znači biti prihvaćen.
A Summer's End Poem, Kina, Švicarska, 15’

Neposredno pred kraj ljetnih praznika, seoski dječak troši svoju ušteđevinu kako bi ostvario san
o gradskoj frizuri – što završi s iznenađujućim rezultatom.
Priča o rastanku s djetinjstvom i poetskom kraju ljeta.
Honeymoon, Grčka, 25’
Redatelj: Alkis Papastathopoulos
Nakon traumatizirajućeg događaja s policajcima, Fay odlučuje zauvijek napusti Grčku. Sandra
ju prati do autobusnog kolodvora, koristeći tu priliku za oproštaj. Dok putuju autobusom, zbog
transfobnog napada, dvoje putnika ostaje nasukano na autocesti usred ničega.
Gosti programa su Nikos Papakostas i Mel Kalfanti.
Nikos Papakostas osmišljava i koordinira transformativne inicijative više od jednog desetljeća na lokalnoj, nacionalnoj, europskoj i međunarodnoj razini, prvenstveno u okviru Inter Alije čiji je ujedno i suosnivač 2013. godine. Mel Kalfanti je osoba koja koordinira Positively Different Short Film festivalom u Ateni čiji je profesionalni fokus na filmu, pisanju i radu s mladima. U sklopu PDSFF-a bavi se kuriranjem programa i prezentacijom festivala; osim toga radi kao kustosica festivala ekološkog filma Zagori Planet u Zagoriwoodu, organizacije koja održava filmske radionice i tematske festivale u ruralnom sjeverozapadnom dijelu Grčke, s ciljem da film dovede u društveno i geografski izolirane zajednice. Također radi kao slobodna spisateljica za razne časopise, pišući o društvenim i političkim pitanjima, a dodatno i kao radnica s mladima, posebno kao edukatorica za rodna i intersekcionalna pitanja. Konačno, nedavno je doktorirala na području socijalne antropologije i rodnih studija na Sveučilištu u Tesaliji i želi nastaviti akademsku karijeru.
Inter Alia je organizacija civilnog društva sa sjedištem u Ateni koja djeluje transnacionalno od 2013. Inter Alia okuplja zainteresirane građane, aktere civilnog društva, aktiviste, znanstvenike, umjetnike i organizatore zajednica u aktivnostima na područjima političkog obrazovanja, aktivizma, propagiranja i umjetnosti. Organizacija potiče transformativno političko djelovanje preko granica, osnaživanje zajednice te osobnu emancipaciju i razvoj.

blind grandfather starts feeling unwell, she develops a crazy idea: to make him think that the
wall has fallen and he is able to return to his homeland in Jaffa…
Alles gut, Greece, 25’
Director: Pavlos Paraskevopoulos
Pavlos, travels to a quiet village in Northern Greece to visit his grandmother. He films her with a
camera, while she prepares his favorite meals for him. Both grappling with loneliness in their
own ways, they share stories and open up like they never had before. In the warmth of his
grandmother’s embrace, Pavlos gets to feel a long-awaited sense of acceptance.

Shortly before the end of the summer holidays, a country boy spends his savings on his dream
of a city hairstyle – with surprising results. A story about bidding farewell to childhood and the
poetic end of a summer.
Honeymoon, Greece, 25’

After a traumatising event involving the cops, Fay is leaving Greece for good. Sandra
accompanies her to the bus station, taking this time as a chance to say goodbye. As they are
travelling by bus across the country, a transphobic attack by two fellow passengers leaves them
stranded on a highway in the middle of nowhere.
The guests of the program are Nikos Papakostas and Mel Kalfanti.
For more than a decade, Nikos Papakostas has been designing and coordinating bottom-up, transformative initiatives at local, national, European and international levels, primarily in the framework of Inter Alia that he co-founded in 2013. Mel Kalfanti is the coordinator of the Positively Different Short Film Festival. Their professional interests revolve around cinema, writing and youth work. Their work in the festival focuses on the curation of the program and presentation; additionally, they work as a curator for the environmental film festival Zagori Planet in Zagoriwood, an organisation that holds cinema workshops and thematic festivals in rural northwestern Greece, aiming to bring cinema to socially and geographically isolated communities. They freelance as a writer for various magazines, writing on social and political issues and have worked extensively as a youth worker, particularly as an educator on gender and intersectionality issues. Finally, they recently obtained their PhD in the field of Social Anthropology and Gender Studies, in the University of Thessaly and aim to pursue an academic career.
Inter Alia is a civil society organisation (NGO) based in Athens and working transnationally since 2013. Inter Alia brings together concerned citizens, civil society actors, activists, scholars, artists and community organisers in activities in the fields of political education, activism, advocacy and arts. The organisation promotes transformative political action across borders, community empowerment and personal emancipation and development.
