Second mobility activity in our Erasmus+ programme is complete
Dubravka Kurobasa has completed her job shadowing activity at the Fotokunstskole in Oslo.

From April 22nd until May 8th, our frequent collaborator, volunteer and workshop mentor Dubravka Kurobasa took part in our Erasmus+ programme ''Cineclub Zagreb and Europe: the advancement of members' knowledge for the development of the association's future educational programs''. She spent her time job shadowing experts at the Oslo Fotokunstkole and gained invaluable experience, competences and knowledge.
Dubravka observed the work of teachers and students, with different techniques both analog and mobile phone filmmaking, preparations and their approach to working on the final exam films and the schools' approach to fiction film and teaching methods. During the stay she followed the classes being held in the school, observed teaching methods and assignments, and students’ progress. She helped out using her experience as a cinematographer when the students needed advice. She took part in a trip on the local island Gressholmen with the students and teachers which was the start of their Exam project.
She studied the program and approach of the school to educating and developing future filmmakers as well as the approach of the specific classes and their effect on the students' work. She held two artist talks for the students and teachers, about Kinoklub Zagreb and amateur and professional film in Croatia. Another part of the talk was about her own work as a professional cinematographer where she screened a short fiction film “That is How I Love You”.
The evaluation of the mobility will result with the presentation of the school’s programme, films made in the school, and pedagogical/creative techniques used in teaching, approach to filmmaking and other insights gained during the mobility program. This presentation will summarize key outcomes achieved through the collaboration with the Oslo FotoKunstskole. The evaluation process will take place at Kinoklub Zagreb, the sending organisation, where the participant will present her findings to an audience consisting of the Kinoklub Zagreb mentors and interested members of the Kinoklub filmmaking community, who will serve as evaluators through feedback and discussion. The presentation will be sent to the Oslo Fotokunstskole with summarised feedback from Kinoklub. Oslo FotoKunst Skole, the hosting organisation, can review and give additional input.
